W790 WS CPU Installation

Identify the triangle marker on the CPU and carrier.

Install the carrier on the CPU.

Apply adequate amount of thermal paste to the CPU

Install the CPU and carrier on the heatsink

Remove Socket Dust Cover

Identify the triangle marker on the CPU socket and CPU Carrier

Lift up the latch lever on the heatsink

Place the heatsink and CPU on the motherboard CPU socket

Close the latch lever to secure the CPU heatsink.

Tighten the screw on the CPU heatsink.

Install the CPU Fan to the heatsink.

Connect the CPU cooler to CPU_FAN header.
